Notre-Dame de Paris

The poster "Meanwhile in Paris" is a French-inspired series that depicts Parisians in everyday situations with a romantic and warm expression. The illustrations are drawn digitally with gouache, a paint that is thicker and all-over as opposed to transparent watercolors. Before acrylic paint, gouache was used as an alternative to oil, but is now also used very graphically, e.g. for coloring illustrations.
